Allegro acquired X-press Couriers, a local same day delivery courier company, to complement its fulfillment and lockers services
- Allegro acquired one of its same-day delivery courier partners to further develop the service and address the rising clients’ and merchants’ expectations.
- Local delivery services will complement Allegro’s One Fulfillment offer and own lockers infrastructure roll-out to further reduce delivery times in biggest Polish cities.
Shopping experience relies on swift and convenient delivery and shortening delivery times is at the core of Allegro’s mission towards customers and merchants alike. To further lead in this area and complement fulfillment and lockers roll-out, Allegro acquired X-press Couriers - one of its smaller-scale courier partners, which specializes in same-day delivery.
“Already several million offers on our platform have the option of being delivered on the same day and our customers are more and more prone to use that service as an alternative to offline shopping. We noted that adding it to offers drives additional sales for our merchants.” says Grzegorz Czapski, Business Development Officer at Allegro. “We expect that scaling these capabilities and rolling out to further big cities - when coupled with our fulfillment and lockers services - will both enhance customer experience and allow us to deliver those services at marginal cost to our customers.”
For the last two years Allegro has cooperated with X-press Couriers, which offers same-day delivery within and between Poland’s 9 largest municipalities. It is complementary to the just launched One Fulfillment by Allegro pilot programme, as well as the planned launch of the group’s parcel machine network.

Over 25 million offers can be delivered one day after the purchase and several million will reach their destination within the same day the purchase is made.
